\nThe story follows a series of individual’s lives emonstrating how existential dilemma’s occur. Ok i’m a philosopher, and i happen to be interested in the existential phenomena. This movie grates my understanding of the existential dilemma with it’s poor use of facts and it’s unfortunate adoption of half-ass theories that sound like new age religious fanatacism then any real detailed self-analysis. Anyone who questions humanity’s existence should be angered by such a trivialization of this dillemma. <\/p>\n

It is a movie. Novel concept eh? As such i neglect the above objection to focus on it’s intents and it’s conclusions. This is how i come away with such a high opinion of the movie. Sure if the movie took itself seriously, then it would be flawed. It does not though. The movie goes from character to character showing a demonstration of humanity in it’s most simple existence, and then using it as comedic interlude. What concludes is a hillarious movie that attempts to be taken intellegently.<\/p>\n
Mark Whalberg was absoleutly hillarious, and Dustin Hoffman was exactly what i expected. MW surprised the hell out of me though. I didn’t think he would pull off being such a good demonstration of masculine ignorance and yet so damned full of concern. <\/p>\n
The psychotic demonstrations of the inner soul of the main character were interesting on a theoretical basis, they are exists in cut-out facsimilies of the world. All the characters demonstrate a form of false existence in the hallucinations. <\/p>\n
