YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s about freakin’ time.
And I couldn’t be happier. I was mildly curious when I came across those 10th aniversary editions of the Downward Spiral a while back. Curious enough that I went to the NIN website to see what they were all about when ‘lo and behold…I see there is another album in the works/due out soon. 4-6 years between albums seems about right. I’m just glad that my current musical drought is coming to an end. I believe that Tool and Pearl Jam are also working on albums. And not to mention the invevitable EP’s and rimixes that will come from “With Teeth”. And the inevitable concert. Gotta see the concert.
dude, where did you get that “all your base” icon/user pic? I love that!
As with all things, I just happened to stumble across it on the internet somewhere…lessee… I cropped it from t-shirt that someone referenced in a math thread on the forums at Overclocked Remix.org. It’s a website devoted to remixes of music from video games (Did I just hit the grand slam of geekiness in those last two sentences or what?). Anyway, It being February; it’s my valentine to everyone (cause as Trey can attest, I love everyone).
It seems that NIN has announced a few US tour dates. There will be a chance for subscribers to the newsletter to order some tickets early (March 1st). Of course, this isn’t news to those of you who are already subscribed to newsletter. Now, here the thing: So far, the closest concert location to Lafayette will be Houston (5/24 Verizon Wireless Theater). I really want to see them perform, but I think I can wait to see if New Orleans will be announced as a location later. I mean Trent used to live in NO, so you’d think he’ll go there. Or should I not wait? Anyone plan on seeing them in HOuston? Thoughts? Oh, and if anyone has room to spare, could I ride along? I’ll pitch in gas money. (Might as well start asking now…). Ron.
